1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AutoLog PRO GARAGE (sukiwave.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Account Registration & Responsibilities

When creating an account, you must provide accurate credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your login details and for all maintenance records and uploaded documents submitted under your account.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All software code, user interface designs, visual layouts, graphics, logos, icons, branding, and documentation comprising AutoLog PRO GARAGE are the exclusive intellectual property of sukiwave (and its licensors) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and applicable intellectual property laws.

• Limited License: You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the platform solely for your personal vehicle maintenance tracking.
• Prohibited Uses: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the service, code, design, or brand assets without explicit prior written permission from sukiwave.

4. DIY Maintenance Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

AutoLog PRO GARAGE provides digital maintenance logging software for vehicle owners and DIY mechanics.

• Informational Tracking Only: All entries, torque recommendations, fluid viscosities, and maintenance cycles logged or suggested within the platform are user-managed informational references. They do not substitute for official factory service manuals or certified mechanics' instructions.
• No Mechanical Advice: AutoLog and sukiwave do not provide certified automotive mechanical, engineering, or safety advice. You assume 100% full risk for all self-performed (DIY) vehicle repairs and service tasks.
• Complete Limitation of Liability: In no event shall sukiwave, its operators, or developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential vehicle damage, mechanical failures, personal injury, fire, or financial losses resulting from DIY wrenching, improper parts installation, or reliance on logged data or telemetry reminders.

5. Torque Specifications & Technical Data Self-Management

The platform does not automatically verify, calibrate, or guarantee torque specifications or mechanical clearances. Any figures recorded in notes or referenced from guidelines are solely the user's responsibility. Failures resulting from over-tightening or under-torquing (e.g., sheared wheel studs, stripped drain plugs, fluid leaks) remain entirely the responsibility of the vehicle operator.

6. AI Receipt Scanning (OCR) & User Verification Duty

Our AI-powered receipt scanning feature utilizes optical character recognition and Google Gemini Vision models to automatically parse dates, costs, locations, and line items.

• No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI parsing is an automated estimation tool and cannot guarantee 100% precision, especially with handwritten invoices or faded thermal paper receipts.
• Mandatory Verification: As a strict condition of use, users must visually review, confirm, and correct all parsed numerical data (especially total cost, currency, service date, and odometer mileage) before clicking save.

7. Vehicle Resale & Private Sale Disclaimer

All exported logs and digital records generated by AutoLog PRO GARAGE are user-submitted, self-reported service records. Sukiwave does not act as an official regulatory vehicle inspection agency and does not certify the historical authenticity, odometer accuracy, or mechanical roadworthiness of any vehicle. We assume no liability for disputes, claims, or contract cancellations between buyers and sellers in private sales (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist) or commercial dealer trade-ins.

8. "AS IS" Service, Cloud Hosting & Complete Data Loss Disclaimer

AutoLog PRO GARAGE is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis for individual personal use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• No Warranty of Data Permanence: We make no express or implied warranties regarding continuous uptime, data durability, or that stored records will be error-free or immune from accidental loss or corruption.
• Third-Party Cloud Provider Outages (Supabase, Render, etc.): The Service relies on external cloud hosting, authentication, and database services (including Supabase, Render, and upstream infrastructure). In the event of server failures, database corruption, infrastructure outages, cyber incidents, or service disruptions causing the loss, alteration, or unrecoverability of user accounts, service records, or receipt images, sukiwave and its operators bear zero liability for any resulting damages, and have no legal obligation to restore or recreate lost data.
• User's Duty to Retain Original Documents: AutoLog PRO GARAGE is an informational self-management convenience tool, NOT a certified legal, tax, or official document archiving service. Users bear 100% full personal responsibility for keeping original physical receipts, invoices, warranty documents, and inspection slips for vehicle resale, tax compliance, or insurance claims.
• Mandatory Personal Backups: As a fundamental condition of using the platform, users agree to regularly download and preserve independent local copies of their logs using our CSV Export Tool.

9. Account Termination & Data Erasure

You may terminate your account and erase all associated vehicle records, receipt uploads, and profile metadata at any time through the Settings dashboard. Upon deletion, all user data is permanently purged from our database.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to them or your use of AutoLog PRO GARAGE shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
